The character in my book Diary of a Wimpy Kid does not really have a hero. Greg is someone who is more laid back and lazy. He likes to sit on the couch and watch tv all day rather than go outside and play foot ball or some type of sport.
You may want to edit this post further to reflect the assignment posed for this topic. Look back at the class blog. As well, you have some catching up to do...we are on BP #9.
I think that as you get further in your book you may find a hero. You might want to add in who you think may turn out to be the hero or who shows some heroic qualities.
I understand how you could see that there is no hero however there must be a hero or it would be a really bad book. I think either the hero has not shown itself yet or the hero in this book may not have some of the common characteristics of a hero. When you finish the book Iwould come back and comment on who the hero turned out to be. Remember a hero doesn't have to be sporty or athletic.
